Simplified Shade Matching

There are many crown material choices in dentistry today; this program will outline the materials and where to use them. Shade selection is often overlooked and misunderstood by the dental team. Dr. Smith will explain color matching in a simple manner that the entire team can understand. He encourages bringing your staff members to the program. He will demonstrate through a “hands on”example of shade selection and describe Hue, Value,and Chroma the components of color. Photography is a paramount in communicating with the laboratory and our patients. Practical tips including camera settings as well as photographic shade matching techniques will be featured.
