Achieving ideal long-term esthetic outcomes around dental implants requires integrating mastery of esthetic principles, an understanding of the biology of healing, and the artistry of the clinician. This lecture will emphasize the importance of interdisciplinary treatment planning, as well as the benefits and limitations of immediate implant placement and provisionalization.
